Caribbean Poker Protocols and Tips

[ English ]

Internet poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers attain 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes directly to the house. After the bet comes the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The casino pony’s up money equal to your ante and fixed expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
