Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in a great game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not have to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable individuals taking their money.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game play, novices can take their time and scheme without having to make quick selections.
It is also simpler to bet on for an extended time with basically a small bit of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the dealer is dealt 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
