Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a wonderful game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers play against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players do not need to worry about other, more experienced players winning their money.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and scheme without having to make hasty decisions.
It is also easier to participate in for a long time with just a little bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards face up and the casino receives 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
