Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the west in a wonderful game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the dealer, not like almost all other poker games that players play against other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not have to be concerned about other, more advanced gamblers winning their mulla.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game pace, rookies are able to take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied choices.
It is also much simpler to bet on for a long time with just a tiny amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier gets 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
