Online poker has become world famous recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different players attain five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning ante, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the wager is the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with a figure on par with the initial bet. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The house pony’s up chips equal to your bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
