Newcomer Tactics for Pai Gow Poker

Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the western in an excellent game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the casino, unlike almost all other poker games that players wager with other players. By betting against the dealer, new players don’t need to worry about any other, more advanced gamblers winning their moolla.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, newcomers should be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make quick selections.

It is also simpler to participate in for a long time with basically a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the croupier is dealt seven cards face down.

A five card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
