Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

Web poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer announcing "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the other players are given 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your ante goes directly to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with an amount in accordance with the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The casino pays chips equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
