Web poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the house rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other gamblers attain five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you have to either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your ante goes instantly to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out chips equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
