Novice Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the west in an awesome game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, unlike most other poker games that players bet with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more experienced players winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game play, newcomers are able to take their time and strategize without needing to make frenzied decisions.

It’s also simpler to wager on for an extended time with just a small amount of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house receives seven cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
