Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the western in an excellent game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the dealer, unlike most other poker games that players compete with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about other, more advanced individuals winning their cash.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make hasty choices.
It’s also simpler to participate in for an extended time with only a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the dealer is given seven cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
